I've Regenerated Service Worker, made sure all icons are there (hTqfzC.jpg). However, my pwabuilder.com score is always 40 (DfhiLR.jpg). I've requested several times help on your Facebook group, and despite receiving the promise of getting help, this never happened. I urgently need to launch the app versions of my site.

Well in your site the core wp function " site_url() " is giving url https://langcom.org/app/ not https://langcom.org ,this is the issue.

CAn you please share admin creds in private reply>?

Due to multisite setup and the app folder not being existing the issue is appearing .We recommend to use the wplms on main site

    OR

create actual app folder in your server and copy files manifest.json and firebase-messaging-sw.js files to this app folder . IT will fix the issue with pwabuilder.com

Your theme descriptions clearly say it is compatible with WordPress multisite, not to mention that I asked Vibethemes if there would be any conflict and you said it would be fine. Of the 2 options you mentioned, which one is the best?

About the issue we need to add provision for custom paths to load service worker and nmanifes.json file .After update there wont be any need to create the folder and put those files since we have fixed this in vibebp update

Hi. I don't think I understand. The next update will make it unnecessary to create the folder in my server and copy the files....?

    When will this update come?

Hi the issue has been fixed and here is the proof : https://prnt.sc/MkDp91fjy8_E

The pwabuilder might be having some error .

I checked and pwabuilder is returning this error : Error: failed to find element matching selector "link[rel=manifest]"

this error reporting is wrong [proof ] : https://prnt.sc/yEbrb3zcnXju

You need to contact pwabuilder support or might need to clear server cache or caching plugin cache .IT might be fetching cached page from server .

The score is finally 170. However, wWhen I click on Generate in the Android App option I get this:

    3087197963.png

And the same happens with the Windows option as well:

As I said before, I requested actual help to launch the apps, especially for Android and Windows. That means you take the time of following the whole process until the launch is done. I paid for the previous app version of WPLMS and paid extra for customer support and it never worked, and I don't think of paying again. So I'd really appreciate it if you could take the time to launch my apps. I can give you the credentials you need.

I spent two hours yesterday to fix this issue for multisite setups. ITs not that we are ignoring , we are also putting all our 100% effort there to help and get the app launched .

I again made some code changes but still 503 error appears .

there should be some file permissions error there :

Failed to download Web Manifest https://langcom.org/manifest.json.Responded with status 503
stack: Error: Failed to download Web Manifest https://langcom.org/manifest.json.Responded with status 503

the file should be accessible to other website.

Yes, I got the same error. So the issue in the end continues.

One observation though. Shouldn't the web Web Manifest  load from https://langcom.org/app/manifest.json.Responded and not from  https://langcom.org/manifest.json.Responded ?

What should the next step be to fix the issue?

As the screenshot clearly suggest that the pwabuilder server is unable to download web manifest.

The best course of action is to  click on "report a problem" and they will be able to help.

We have seen they are able to solve many queries and sometimes also update their software if required to make necessary changes.

First of. I don't know why you closed the topic if the issue is clearly NOT SOLVED.

Second, the pwa version that can be downloaded to an Android mobile doesn't rotate when the phone is in a horizontal position, it only rotates when I access it from the URL https://langcom.org/app from Google Chrome. How can we fix this.

HI I cant find your app langcom on playstore to test , can you please share link of it?

Hi. The app obviously hasn't been launched in Android Store yet, because of the issues reported in this topic hasn't been solved.

What I meant was the option "Add Langcom to home screen" which adds an icon on the mobile, and when opening it, the pwa page doesn't rotate.

You will find it at https://langcom.org/app

Please login via cpanel -> file manager or ftp . Edit the manifest.json file there .

    Hi again.

I've just edited the file. How long will it take fo the change to show?

    Thanks.

  • [deleted] replied

Well Im sorry I forgot to mention that you will need to change service worker version from wp-admin -> vibebp-> setting s-> service worker -> version and then save changes .

After this regenerate service worker . It will auto update the service worker and site should rotate fine .

If it does not then uninstall and reinstall the app from browser .

Hi again. For some reason my last message in this topic wasn't sent.

Now that I've been able to download the Android package from pwa builder. I'd like you to help me launch the app in Google Play Store please. Several months ago I requested help and back in 2019 I even paid for support to launch my app Zf5q3v.jpg but it never worked properly. Can you please help me relaunch my app again with this new pwa version? What things do I need?

    Thanks
