    Hello,

I did an APM check of my live website and noticed that a lot of BP (Buddypress?) function take quite some time to load? Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Also, are activities related to final scores? If I delete the +300k activities saved, do students no longer see a final score on their certificate?

    Thanks again,

    Gijs

Well sure they can see the final score and certificate .

You can delete the activity but it will affect course/quiz stats

You say that deleting activity affects course/quiz stats. Can you elaborate? How does it affect them?

  • [deleted] replied

Well for course stats like course joining date/finish date will be affected if activity deleted .

Course stats will not be able to pull the dates.

Will the scores of the quizzes, progress, final course score and score visible on certificate remain? Because I have some certificates that no longer shows final scores, I think it's because of deleting activities. I had one student who I tutored and all his certificates show a score of 0. When I know he finished all of them with perfect score of 100.

Do not remove the activities which have "type" parameter as "quiz_evalutaed" or "course_evaluated" .These specific activities are used to fetch time and their meta properties used to fetch the scorecard of the quiz.

Ah, Ripul. Maybe you can help. Is there something in my database that I can delete manually that makes my website quicker? And if so, how should I delete that info/database?

    Thanks

  • [deleted] replied

yes marks will remain intact .

deleting some rows in database would help increasing some speed .

but deleting activity table entries would not really help in increasing site speed .but deleting the courses might actually help coz on course pages usually postmeta and posts comes in picture .

Deleting courses? Haha, I think I don't understand. I need all my courses? I guess I can't delete courses from my database without losing them, right?

well then deleting activity can only make your stats run faster.

you would need to delete either users or courses to have some impact on speed
