My live website still runs on WPLMS 3.9, my staging environment runs on WPLMS 4.4. I already use php8.1 on both websites. Works great. I still miss some functions in 4.4 that I have in 3.9 (which in itself is weird of course, why would an update miss essentials?). So I'm thinking of sticking to 3.9 till all are resolved or added.
My question: Can I expect problems if I keep using WPLMS 3.9 and don't migrate to 4.4? Please explain in detail.
There could compatibility issues .Mostly 3.9 is stable but no software is ever stable . You might get incpaitbility with wp core plugins like woocommerce or buddypress in future .
We have stopped development of these plugins since v4 has all features + more features that 3.9 had /

Do you have numbers on what percentage has not yet migrated to 4.4? I'm very curious...
We can close.
