    Hi:

        I want to see if I can create Zoom appointment lessons as products on my current copy  of WPLMS.

       I have already tried to purchase the add-on "WPLMS appointment". However, when I hit "Learn more", the page comes out as Error.

        Is the Zoom appointment function no longer available? Or, there is another way of doing it?

    actually zoom is better work with it supports recurring meetings with recurring bookings and meeting also automatically created . BBB is not that supported.

    May I ask, about the "Vibe appointment" add-on :

    (1) Is USD 59 the lifetime selling price? NOT a subscription? 

    (2) About the payment method, it can't be done by VISA? We don't have Razor Pay, So we can only choose PayPal?

    I've somehow managed to install the "Vibe appoint" on my website.
    However, after installation, I can't able to find any subtabs "My Bookings, Appoints, Settings" and the calendar , under "appointments" as described in the video.

    Hi,

    I can now scucessfully setup the appointment options for the instructor and the can be seen on the student's side. 

    However, after the time slot has been set by the instructor and the appointment is booked by the student and seen on the admin's wordpress backend, it doesn't show up on the instructor's dashboard, i.e. The instructor siade can't see any "pending" booking but it's shown on the admin's wocommerce backend.


    (On the instructor side, 5:30 onward on the video) 

    Is there any steps I've missed to connect the student's booking and the instructor's menu?

    What I mean is this: 

    I've tried using the student's side to make a booking (The instructor's booking can be seen on the student's menu).

    The student hit the selection and checked out on the woocommerce. 

    The admin then conformed the student's payment on the backend and set the transaction as "completed" on the backend.

    However, when I login as the instructor, either before the transaction is set as "processing" OR as "completed", I cannot see the student's booking there (neither do the instructor receive any auto email from the admin).

    So, why? How could the instructor be informed after a student has made a booking?

    (See the attachment, the instructor's side can;t see any bookings on his menu)

    Hi

    I am still unable to use Vibe appointment.
    I've just tried to login as a student ([email protected])
    However, when I (as a student) was searching for instructors on the panel, I cannoet see any other instructors (apart from "VibeHelper" which was you as the admin)
    How can the students search for instructors and make appointment on their panel?

    I've set the instructor "[email protected]" having a course "bchui2019 test-01"

    Hi,

    I think I have proceeded to solve most of the problem. 
    However, there is a major problem I get confused:  

    It seems, after the appointment is made and confirmed by the student, the student still needs to go to the (shop page) front end to purchase the "appointment product" again.

    Could, when the student found out the time available by the tutor and made the booking, 
    he hit the "time confirm" and the action would lead him directly to the cart page to buy the appointment ?

    There is alos a major problem: (See the attahcment "Sell-Appointment-01"), How can we automatically set the time slot (say 10:00pm to 10:30 pm) to the description on the shop page? 
    The student may want to purchase different time-slots. Different time-slots should be shown to the student you know. (There are no time-slots shown to the student in "Sell-Appointment-02", the woocommerce's reply)

    I just tried to change the setting in VibeBP -> Appointment .

    However, after I (as a student) hit the time-slot, nothing happened, it doesn't go to the cart page (see attachment).

    Could there be any other settings I have forgotten to change?

    It seems the student, after purchase , has to go to the cart page BY selecting the cart on the top right hand corner "green button"  It won't jump to the cart page automatically? .

    Now I've got other problem on the instructor's side:  Can the instructor set different price for different time slot? 

    Say, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm is non-busy hours and the the appointment fee is cheaper.
    But, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm is busy hours and the appointment fee is more.

    Can this be done?

    Now I've got other problem on the instructor's side:  Can the instructor set different price for different time slot?  : yes using service by enrolling into service which admin can create : 

    you can add cart link into header . currently on app page direct link to cart cannot be added.

    Hi: 

    Thanks for your help and I've now found out how to set different price to different time-slots.

    However, I can't able to find out how to set the commission price for the appointment product. 
    There should be a way for the admin to set a comission rate, say 20% of the lesson fee and let the instructor get 80% of the share. How could this be set on the backend?

    One more thing: It seems the instructor can only confirm but not possible to reject an appointment? 
    The appointment would only appear on the instructor's panel after (see after complete.png) the student has it purchased and fully paid on the admin's backend. 
    The admin would only inform the student he/she has the product successfully purchased and the instructor could only find out on his panel afterwards? And, can't able to reject the purchase? 

    Can these two issues be solved ?

    the commission can be set for the service wise not for instructors from wp-admin -> vibebp-> settings -> appointments tab . 

    cannot reject appointment  ---- in vibe appointments if an appointment is paid and user has pay for it , it cannot be rejected or cancelled . 

    However admin can cancel this appointment booking marking the order as cancelled from woocommerce -> orders .

    Only free appointments comes for approval and can be rejected .

    Hi, 

    (1) Appointment products (listed as "service" on the wordpress backend) 

    Say, if the appointment is named "bchui2013-service-01", should it be like this as shown in the attachment, if 10% of the fee goes to the admin ? 
    Say, the instructor set the fee as $200 on his own panel, would the price as shown on the student's front end becomes $180 or still $200? 

    (2) Course products (Non-appoint, normal courses, listed under "products" on the wordpress backend)

    How about the other (non-appointment) course products? (Which are listed as products on the wordpress backend) 
    For example the instructor bchui2009 has set up a course "Eng-Mix-P6-003". How could a commission be set to the admin?

    1 . no sir it will not price will show 200 to customer/student . setting 10% would mean 10% of 200 = 20 will be earned by instructror in it . 

    if you want to keep 10% as admin then set 90% there for the service . all the instructor who enrol into that service will earn 90% commission .

    Thanks for your reply which was very helpful.

    I still have a few more problems on using WPLMS.
    One problem is : How to set the commission for co-instructors? Say, I want to form a team Zoom live lessons with a few instructors answering student's questions. Could we form a team tutor lesson and divide the income?

    Another problem is the group lesson. Say, I want a certain lesson of certain time slot to becomes available only when the waiting list has at least 4 students. Is waiting list function available?

    Apart from the above, I've just discovers a More Serious Issue:  New users can't able to regieter . I don't know why.

    I was trying to use a new email "diamond-edu-20@hotmail." to register. It sent me a confirm email afterwards BUT can't able to login afterwards.

    I think the previous "new users unable to login problem" is solve - It was due to my typing mistakes.

    However, I still need to solve the "co-instructor commission" problem.  

    There is one more problem I've got:

    Say, after a user have already login to the app (app login-001), I would be within the app dashboard (See attachment "Back to main-002"), how can I add an extra icon (say "Back to main page" as shown in the accachment) so that users can directly get back to the main page (attachment "Back to main-001") ? 

    As a matter of fact, I've found users who are using the "Enter icon" on the main page (Back to main-001, app login-002) to login, he need to re-login again if he wants to use the app (app-login-003, app login-001). Can this "double login" be combineds as a single login, i.e. the 1st time the user login on the main page can automatically carry the login credential to login the WPLMS app ?

    Yes! That's very helpful.

    The "double log-in problem" is now solved. 

    Here comes the other problems :

    (1)  It seems the instructor can only create "courses" but not "services" (i.e. appointment types) on his panel? 
         Say an instructor bchui2013 wants to create two types of appointments : "bchui2013-01" for busy hours , higher payment and a"bchui2013-02" for nonbusy hours, lower payment. 
         Can this be done by the instructor's own choice? It seems this could only be set by the admin's backend? 
    (2)  How about the capacity for each appointment? Say, "bchui2013-01" has higher payment and only allows 1 student at a time and the capacity is 1 only; "bchui2013-02" for non-busy hours has lower payment and up to 20 students can have the lesson together and the capacity is 20. 
         How could this be done?

    1 . no the services cannot be created on its own by the instructor , admin has to create this from wp-admin , however instructor can enrol into services with thier own pricing , they are free to set htier pricing for a service the enrol in : 



    2 . we have seat settings in a slot : 

    goto wp-admin -> vibebp-> settings-> appoitnemtns tab -> 

    Enable Multiple Seats per Booking
    then you will see seats setting here while creating slot :

    Hi

    I think I've just fixed the multiple seat problem (The seats setting now appeared). Three more problem follow:

    (1) It seems, after the students (more than 1) made the bookings, they and the instructor (appointment provider) has to go back to the app to login to the Zoom meeting (Rather than choose "Join meeting" on the bottom right corner in the app, as shown in Appoint-step-13 a.png)? Can we somehow send the Zoom links to the Students and the course instructor to their Emails, rather than they have to re-login to the app?
    (2) I've just set another service "bchui2013-service-02" for the instructor "[email protected]". However, after the students made their purchase for "service-02", they jump directly to an empty cart page (see attachment  Appoint-Step-03 b.png  ) (But it still works for "bchui2013-service-01"). It seems no product is set for the "service-002" automatically? Besides, the "Appointment products" don't seems to be visible on the shop page:

    (3) After the students have made their appointments and the instructor noticed within the app, I've tried the instructor can notify the students but the instructor can't receive the reply from the students (Notify user-001.png).

    As you can see:    "bchui2013-service-01" ($120) and "bchui2013-service-02" ($200) are both on the wordpress serivce list. Both listed as "enrolled"

    "Set Slot Price." I've made it as $160 (default)

    On the wordpress product list, thre are "Appointment Booking product for bchui2013" ($160) and "Appointment Booking product for bchui2013 for service 20931" ($120)

    As we can see within the app, only "bchui2013-service-01" ($120) can be successively booked. 

    "Appointment Booking product for bchui2013" ($160) was the default before I've set the new service name "bchui2013-service-01" ($120)

    Do we need to set the new "appointment services" names on the wordpress product list as well as the on the wordpress service list manually? Or, the app will automatically generate the correct service and product names on the list for us??

    (1) I have further question on the instructor's "Profile Field Visibility Settings" which is rather important.

    As the platform admin, I don't want the instructor to have private communication to the students and so hiding all his/her personal contact data on the platform is a must. How could this be done? 

    It seems everybody (admin / instructor / student) can both set their personal contact information to be public or not freely? 

    (2) I tried to login courses by two users "[email protected]" (student) and "[email protected]" (Booknetic customers, student).
        After entering the app, "[email protected]" (student) got the student's dashboard BUT "[email protected]" (Booknetic customers, student) entered the instructor dashboard. How could this be changed?

    (1) We still have the "instructor's contact information visibility" problem .

    I don't want the instructor's personal contact be visible to students. More precisely, the instructor's profile need to be approved by the admin and the admin can hide his/her personal contact. Can this be done?

    (2) I have just removed the old "bchui2103-service-02" and it seems to be working. However, I've tried but the same service "bchui2013-service-02" seems only available on the most recent day but not the following days (next month).    Do we have to set the serivce as "recurrent" even if they are set on irregular days and time?

    The instructor "[email protected]" can set his own profil.e with Email visible to the student  (Instructor profile-03_

    When a studnet ([email protected]) login to the app, the "instructor profile" icon seems to be empty. However he can still find the instructor's Email from the "All members" list on the left hand side bar. (profile-bchui2013-02"

    How to disable the ability of students and other instructors to see other instructor's Email and contact information?

    2 . yes you have to set it as recurring but recurring slots are booked by single students and he has to pay for whole duration of the recurring slot . 

    if you do not want this then add single slots for whole timeline . 


    3  . well the all members should not be visible to the student and he cannot manage it. 

    you have to set different menus for different member types : 

    first set member types automatically with registration : 

    then apply menus / widgets for each member type :

    Thanks for your help. My counstruction for the Appointment Profile is almost there.

    There is one important problem I still can't able to sort out:

    When the instructor ("bchui2013_hotmail") created an appointment and the student ("diamond-edu-03") went to the "Appointments -> Find an Instructor" selection and hit on the "view profile" of the instructor "bchui2013_hotmail" , 
    it goes to the empty page :   https://diamond-edu.com/members/bchui2013_hotmail/   (see attachment "Student-find-instructor-002")  
    Should this page be supposed to point to the instructor's profile page  and : How could the instructor/Admin edit this page to make it available to the public ?

    Could this page:  

    https://diamond-edu.com/members/bchui2013_hotmail/   (see attachment)  

    and the folder "members" be manually created by the admin member by member? Should it be automatically created by the app itself?  

    It doesn't seem to have mentioned about this problem in the videos

    It should be somehow, the students (public) can have a look of the instructor's personal profile (introduction) page before he/she decides to purchase. Could we have such Instructor profile page available from the course selection as well as from the appointment purchase selection?

    I just disabled the "disable public profile" in buddypress. I then hit the blue buttom "view profile" and the instructor photo in the app. Either way goes to the same page and says "Nothing found" (see attachment)

    (1)  The "Instructor profile" can now be seen after installing your plugin, thank a lot!

    So, the students can see the instructor's profile before making an appointment. 
    How about viewing the instructor's profile from the course page? Or, can the students find the instructor's profile page outside the app page?

    For the time being, students can only see the instructor's profile when he/she goes to the app and select:
    Appointment -> Fina an instructor -> Click on the instructor's view profile

    If, say the instructor only offer courses but no appointment (or all appoinetments available are out-of-date), how can students what to see the instructor's profile before purchasing a course ?


    (2) Besides, it seems there's no more templates available for the WPLMS PDF Certificate?

        I have the WPLMS PDF Certificates plugin installed and trying to build certificates. I can't any of the 3 templates on the list as shown in the video.

    2 . well sorry these templates does not comes with pdf certificate plugin to create one . 



    points missing in tutorial : 

    first you have to upload background image , then set the certificate orientation and margins , for magins use : 30,50,30,50

    when you add text set its width and height(very important ) adn then its very important to hit on the edit text/add text button at the bottom right, same for image .

    to save the text you have to hit the save button at top right---this saves all the texts in json data which is used to generate certificate .

    then generate sample certificate .

    Thanks you very much for your help.
    I am now editing the member profiles and course directory and encountered quite a few problems:

    In the course directory, I've found a lot of non-instructors listed on the front end (See 001.jpg). As a matter of fact, I've only set 3 instructors. 
    For example the one "gcwong" (see 003.jpg) was set as a "student" in my wordpress backend.

    How was the list of "instructors" generated in the course directory? Isn't it not from the wordpress selection but from another location in the back end ? 

    Could we set only those instructors with current courses (or appointment) provided to be visible on the list.  

    Besides: Can we divide "instructors" into two or three types, one with course provide only, one with appointment provided only and one with both appointments and courses provided..

    I don't get how to set the size of each course in the course directory here. 

    There is a Max-width as well as a Min-width there. Can we enlarge the width of each course photo?
    And, how to vertically separate courses(s) in two rows a bit further apart?

    And, how to change the epplitic or circluar photo to be rectangular in shape?

    your course card contains some wrong elements which is just showing the instructor names instead of course names actually there in the course directory .

    you have to edit course layout to fix course layout page for course image and all . 


    min width is to be set to 240px and max width to be set to 100%.

    )

    The "course card" is now showing the course names instead of the instructor names.

    However, I stioll don't understand why in the course directory, thare some obviously non-instructors in the instructor list
    (Example "gcwong223" , "diaedu-stu-01", "diaedu-stu-02" were all set as students in my wordpress backend)

    I've just checked on the "course directory" and changed the Card Style to "Elementor Course card"

    It seems the "Instructor" list shows all the following roles on my wordpress backend setting:  

    "Admin", "Instructor", "Customer", "Vendor" and "Contributor" 

    While others ("Students", "Booknetic customers"... are not) How to set the "course directory" to list out only the "Instructors" on my wordpress backend ?

    One thing I should mention:  When the Card Style was set as "Coourse 2" before, some ([email protected]) instructor's course cannot be shown on the  "course directory" . I don't know why?
    It's now shown on the Course directory.

    I 've now just come back to edit and create courses.

    I was trying to go through the same steps as before:

    Edit Course -> Set Curriculum -> Unit -> Quiz -> Simple (or "Dynamic")

    However, it comes up as a blank page !! (see -002 attachment)  Why?  What happened? 

    I hit the top left "<-" sign but it did not come back ? 

    Could this be caused by the aforementioned changes you suggested: 

    (isntall bp classic plugin : https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-classic/  and other settings)

    which cause clashes? 

    I have another webiste installed WPLMS (https://bc-hui.link) withour VibeAppointment 

    I can go to  Quiz  ->  Simple    to edit without problem (see another attachment) 


    Creating Course and Quizz is more important you know!

    I guess the problem may come from the "VibeBP Appointment" itself?

    I disabled many other recently installed plugined on the website

    And then I go back to Manage Quiz , eidt Quiz again.
    The same plank page appeared. (See attachment 001-003)

    I just found out what caused the "Quiz-loading problem". It seems to be the "WPLMS Sell Quiz" plugin that caused the clash. 

    So, apart from selling an entire course, can we sell "Quiz only" as well as selling "appointments"?

    How about the member profiles? It seems they cannot be seen again:

    I've further problems about building courses.

    I am trying to build the colurse "Eng-Mix P5-006" with 3 sections:

    (1)  Quiz  (Auto evaluation on-line, I set it as "fill-in-the blanks" type, no problem) 
    (2)  Assigments
    (3)  Answers

    I am now trying to set it in thew way so that students can only work section by section (can't able to see the answer videos before the submission of his work)
    My problem is:

    (1)  Where has the submissions gone to after the student hit the "submit" button?  

    (2)  The student ([email protected]) should be able to send his/her "official submission" by either 

    (2.1) Typing in his/her answers on the online slots OR 
    (2.2) For assigments which need to draw pidcures, upload his/her photo (.jpg) or pdf file and send it off there as his/her "official submission" 
    (instead of sending it separately by email to the admin or the tutor, which may NOT be recognized as an "official submission")?

          So, how could students do their submissions by method (2.2) "upload photos of his/her hand-written answers"? 

    I have further queries about (4) making the making the certificate. I may need to further consult you later.

    I've now successfully made courses with quizes and assignments.

    I still have the problem with the last part which is the "certificate"

    (1)  I followed the video 

    WPLMS Custom Printable Certificates

    and created the "certificate template" on my website

    However, the list of the short codes ("Student's name", "Course name",...etc) do not show up on the Certificate the student received (see "Stu-Cedrt-001.png" and "Stu-Cert-002.png" attachment) 
    How could this be fixed?  Could there be something on the LMS - > Certificate Template   (See "Cert-template -001") I have not set up correctly? Instead, only the background image "Cert-template-002" was shown as the student's certificate. 

    (2)  I've tried some users with both "student" and "Booknetic customer" role and their dashboard on the app didn't show the "Achievements" option -> Hence cannot see the "certificate" 
    (See "Stu-Cert-001")  How could we let these multiple-role students get their certificates?

    follow this tutorial : 

    points missing in tutorial : 

    first you have to upload background image , then set the certificate orientation and margins , for magins use : 30,50,30,50

    when you add text set its width and height(very important ) adn then its very important to hit on the edit text/add text button at the bottom right, same for image .

    to save the text you have to hit the save button at top right---this saves all the texts in json data which is used to generate certificate .

    then generate sample certificate .

    I am now trying to create the certificate.

    However, I've found  VibeBP 1.9.9.5.2  and  WPLMS BBB can't be activated. I don't know why?

    I've tried several times already. Do they clash with other plugins?

    vibebp is showing to be activated bbb does not works well with appointments zoom works perfectly .

    I have tried many times but still unable to update the VibeBP plugin and I've found it is always the case. (See attachment)

    One more thing:  What is the "VibeBP purchase code"? isn't it the same as the WPLMS purchase code? When I purchased the WPLMS, it only comes with the WPLMS purchase code but there seems to be no VibeBP plugin purchase code?
