Well im sorry its not possible currently we have optional firebase login . the front end login form only checks validations from the server api call not the firebase .
it logs in the user even it we get any error from firebase . we do not halt the login process there since our app runs without firebase as well.
you have to add server side validation using php code .

no idea this works by default in our theme but its not working at your site try disabling your customizations and third party plugins in your site and check this again .
I have access and i have already tried all the settings which could affect this but this is not changing please check your third party plugins and customizations .
